Have A Weight Loss Goal? Try This Simple, Metabolism-Boosting Elixir
I’m about halfway to my goal of weighing 180 pounds from my high of 210, and I have to admit, there are some days where I’m just too lazy to hit the gym, go for a run, or make myself some delicious vegetables or a smoothie. So this metabolism-boosting drink can help on those lazier days.
You will need:
- 2 teaspoons of honey
- 1 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1 cup of water
First, you’re going to want to boil the water. Once boiling, remove from heat and add the cinnamon. Allow to cool for a bit, but it should still be warm. At this point, you can add the honey. Just remember: don’t ever add honey to boiling water. The hot water destroys important nutritional elements of the food.
Drink half before bed, refrigerate the rest, and consume the cold beverage first thing in the morning.
Of course, missing just one day of exercise or eating bad on one day isn’t going to make you gain all the weight back. Help yourself to some cheat days now and again.
